Well, I usually go to the Tetons and work for Exum Mountain Guides in the summer. The pandemic reshaped those plans, and I was able to spend a summer in Alaska. Despite having lived here since 2014, I have never spent a full summer in Alaska. It was nice to get to sample some more of the local rock climbing. When there is a pandemic and travel is challenging, I am very grateful to live in a place that allows me to explore the mountains without straying far from home. Along with a bunch of great personal routes, I was able to take some guests out to enjoy the local rock piles. Below are some photos.
