About Elliot

Elliot is from the small town of Bolton Landing, in the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York. He began climbing in 2000 on an Outward Bound course and has never looked back. He has climbed and skied extensively throughout the US and Canada, and climbed a bit in the western Alps.

Elliot is an American Mountain Guide and IFMGA certified Mountain Guide. He holds a BS in Adventure Recreation from Green Mountain College. His medical certifications include Wilderness First Responder and CPR. He holds a Pro 2 avalanche certification, and is a professional member of the American Avalanche Association.

He has guided in the mountains since 2005, working in Alaska (29 fly-in expeditions), Wyoming, and New Hampshire.

He moved to Anchorage in 2014 where he lives with his wife and children.
